In the first tutorial I covered basic oscillators theory and construction. Now its time to sequence those oscillators to make melodies and complex patterns. The video above covers several kinds of sequencers in detail. Below I have provided schematics and build diagrams for the examples in the video. I tried to make the diagrams as complete as possible but there is still much more to explore. Experimentation is the name of the game here. Don’t just copy my drawings. Change component values, read about the chips, add control hardware. A LOT can be added to these sequencers without adding any extra circuitry. A few well placed buttons and switches can make a huge difference!
